Students will learn Analog and Digital Back end design concepts.

Students will learn various Digital design Hierarchy, controller (FSM), case study, meta-stability, synchronization, FSM issues, timing issues, etc and then implementation using reprogrammable platform like FPGA and SoC.

This course focuses on electronic product development. With all the 'analytic' study so far, the learners will learn how to apply those concepts to design an electronic system in this course. Right from idea development, paper design to final PCB design and testing, this course offers a lot to learn collaboratively. 

From mobile phones to satellite systems, Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) are every where. This course is a journey of how an RTOS is designed and written. All the fundamental concepts related to RTOS will be thoroughly taught through the design of uC/OS-II, a popular RTOS kernel written by Jean Labrosse.

This course enables students to appreciate the role of various source and channel coding techniques in

  • Estimating complexity of implementation at transmitter and receiver sites.
  • Quality/ Correctness of received information in terms of parameters such as error detection and correction capacity.
  • Deciding various schemes for encoders and decoders deployability either in software or in hardware forms and its consequences.
  • This course/laboratory also helps in improving the analytical and programming skills.

This course is all about designing an embedded system with Embedded Linux OS. The journey unfolds the answers to many interesting questions such as 'what is system design', 'What's exactly there inside the Linux kernel', 'What it takes to write a device driver for Embedded Linux Vs what is takes to write an Embedded Linux application' and many such more. Learners will learn the entire Linux kernel architecture, writing device drivers and applications for Embedded Linux and Real-time OS with lots of hands-on experiments. The course will be co-taught by an industry expert as well, through which learners will get enough practical/industrial exposure. 

This is a first course in Statistics for B.Tech. Planning students.

This is the third course of Mathematics and Statistics designed for B.Tech Planning. 

Solid Mechanics course deals with response of materials under mechanical loadings. In case of recoverable deformations, it is called as Elasticity and for permanent deformations this branch is called as Plasticity. In short this course deals with concepts of stress and strain tensors and their constitutional relations for infinitesimal displacements.
